Bulldog Club of Wales Single Breed Open Show

6th November 2010

2nd Open Dog

Judge: Trevor Jones (Bandapart)

Critique: I have admired this flashy standard size dog from the ringside many times and would say that he would of done much better today if he was carrying more weight behind the shoulders. A dog of the correct standard size with a lovely head showing a sour expression and correct layback. Nice eyes, nostrils and jaw did not disappoint. Lovely balanced front to good feet. Great length of neck leading to nice length of back and good tail. Light but strong rear end. A little disappointing when viewed from above and side due to lack of cover, moved well.

Critique: Flashy R/W standard size male. Short coupled, compact, strong headed dog, both first and second in this class could change places another time and I think there is a good future for both of them.
