Simon & Jeni Saunders would like to welcome you to StandProud Bulldogs; we are a small show kennel and reside in Crawley, West Sussex.
We got our first show Bulldog 'Bullet' from the LaRoyal kennel in Brighton in October 2007. Not long after we realised that having one Bulldog was really not an option and in October 2008 'Woody' arrived from the Jaminic kennels in Surrey.
Our affix "StandProud" was granted by the Kennel Club in June 2008 and is a fitting tribute to "Bullet" who is always very proud to stand in the show ring and show what a credit to the breed he really is.
We started showing "Bullet" in February 2008 and he has performed extremely well, winning at both Open and Championship levels, this is mainly due to the encouragement and support given by Jackie Gee [Jaminic] and Sara Lamont [LaRoyal] which will never be forgotten.
Woody started his show career in March 2009 and has excelled at both Open and Championship levels; and has already qualified for Crufts 2010. Woody is now available at Stud; for more information please view the 'Stud' page.
The priority at our kennel is to breed sound, healthy Bulldogs as close to the breed standard as possible. Our Kennel is a member of the London Bulldog Society, the Bulldog club Incorporated. We are also a Kennel Club accredited Breeder. We hope that you find the website both informative and enjoyable.
